Ashby Hastings Scouts
We are Ashby Hastings Scout Group, first formed in 1908 (as 1st Ashby de la Zouch) and we’ve been meeting continuously at our site on Wilfred Gardens since 1963. We’re proud to have given so many from Ashby and the surrounding area the chance to experience all that Scouts has to offer over the decades. We’re part of a huge worldwide movement of millions of young people and their leaders from nearly every country in the world, as relevant in today’s society now as we ever were.
If you’re aged 6 – 14½ you can join our Beaver Colony, Cub Pack or Scout Troop and take part in weekly meetings, camps, hikes & all the other things we get up to. Everyone is welcome.
Scouting for all
All our leaders are volunteers. It is immensely satisfying to help our young people develop – and learn skills & make friends ourselves while we’re at it.
Day in, day out our lovely volunteers help our young people learn new skills, find new friends and think for themselves.
